Getting to be friends with Marilyn Monroe

Doris was the second wife of Loni’s father, and we stayed in touch with Doris regularly. One weekend we were in Vancouver and spent some time with Doris in her kitchen. I turned on my camera and Loni asked her some wonderful questions, which drew out great stories Here’s one of her many adventures….. getting to know Marilyn Monroe and eventually sharing an apartment with her for a couple of months. It was right around the time Marilyn married Joe DiMaggio.
