I am really struck by how much has changed since then. It feels like now my generation is expected to not only deal with raising our kids and being home with our kids, but also work from home and work on the side and grind and grind and make money, etc.. I loved how articulate the women were in the video and how honest they were about their need for support. I feel like now, staying at home with your kid is thought of as such a luxury, and there’s not as much room to ask for that much-needed support. I think that the fact that they had counsellors on hand is outstanding! That is what really sets this apart from all the different kindergym‘s. I have been to over my years as a mom.
Raising your kids at home truly is the very hardest job and still pays the least. Lol!
Every parent deserves an outlet and an opportunity to connect with other parents. My heart goes out to anyone who hasn’t found that. Very cool video. Thank you.
