Rethink Urban: engagement, safety and vitality

I love the street piano! Both in the real world, and as a metaphor for community building around joyful harmony.

Nice old pianos turn up free on Craig’s list these days. I see them and wonder how this opportunity, this valuable thing, can go in a good direction.

I’m interested in Active Transportation; Bike, walk, integrate with public transportation, as community building. Destinations or places of interest are important to inspire people to walk or bike. Perhaps a street piano creates that kind of destination/attraction.
